#7 South Carolina vs North Carolina, prediciton
October 8th, 2007 | by Ethanator1088 |I am very sorry that there is not too much to write about here. South Carolina is playing great football. Everyone knew that Spurrier just needed some time. Well, he has had time. Now he finally has a QB that he can do some damage with. USC has a little bit of a running attack as well.
North Carolina is 2-4 and I give them zero chance. South Carolina will win BIIIGGG What do you think? Leave a comment or answer the poll.

You haven’t been watching the young Butch Davis team this year by looking at your post. I agree that USC should win. But Miami should have won this past saturday as well. The young tarheel team has explosive offense possibilities in Brandon Tate, Hakeem Nicks and an improving running game. The defense is getting better and this is a young team that does not give up. With a coaching staff that always has a team ready, a stadium that is not the wine and cheese crowd it has been in recent years it will be closer than anticipated. UNC has been in all but one of the games this year and with 3 or 4 plays going differently the Tarheels could easily be 5-1 with their only loss coming against USF.

Gene, I do appreciate your comment. But please understand that UNC is 2-4 in the ACC. The ACC is worse than the Big East this year. If your team is 2-4 in the ACC you have no place what so ever to brag about them. I let you do it here because I am a nice guy.
But seriously, Spurrier is a genius and yall are 2-4 in the ACC. End of story.

I’m going to have to disagree with Gene. It was not an upset that Miami lost to UNC last weekend. Miami’s days as a contender for anything related to football are non-existent at this point. The only ranked team Miami actually played this year beat them by almost 40 points. Any team that loses by 40 points to anyone else (no matter what their rankings are) has the potential to lose against whomever they play in the future on their schedule. South Carolina wins by a landslide. End of story.
