Auburn was in complete control from start to finish. They dominated. Auburn is now 4-2 overall, 2-1 in SEC play. They still hold their own destiny if they go undefeated the rest of the way. That would give LSU and Auburn 1 conference loss each, and Auburn would have the tie breaker. Brad Lester made his season debut in style. He rushed for 77 yards and 2 TD’s. Brandon Cox managed the game and stayed away from interceptions. That is all Auburn needs from him with this stable of running backs. Auburn rushed for over 230 yards and the running backs had 5 catches for 42 receiving yards.
Vanderbilt has nothing to be ashamed of. Vandy is 3-2. They have a chance of going bowling at the end of the season, but it will be hard. They need 3 more wins to have a chance at a bowl bid. This is their remaining schedule. I think they can beat Miami (OH), Wake Forest, and Tennessee, but Fulmer and the boys looked pretty good Saturday against Georgia.
