#11 Florida vs #18 Georgia, prediction, Worlds Largest Cocktail Party
October 22nd, 2007 | by Ethanator1088 |Florida is back in the hunt in the SEC East. Well, every team is in the SEC East race. Every team is either 3-2, 2-2, or 2-3 in league play. This is one of the best races the SEC has ever had. The best thing is that we have parody because we are so very good. Some conferences have parody because they all stink. This year’s SEC is the strongest conference the NCAA has had for the past 20 years. It might be the best ever. We have the best coaches, players, history, and fans.
Enough about this great conference, and on to the prediction.
This is going to be another great SEC battle. If the SEC has the best conference ever, than we should have the best ” Worlds Largest Cocktail Party” ever. Both teams are going in the right direction. Georgia finally found a running attack, with Moreno, in the Vandy game. They barely won the game, but a win is a win. The Dawgs are ready and raring to play after a much needed week of rest. Coach Richt will have them ready to go. I have no doubt.
Urban Meyer and the Gators are vindicated. They lost two games and everyone forgot about them. They beat Kentucky and everyone remembers that Florida is still around. Tebow put his name back on the top of the Heisman list last week.
Please do not underestimate either of these programs. They both have rich team history,
and great coaches. I have to pick a winner…..I pick Florida. Florida may not win the East, but I pick them to win this game. Georgia might win the rest of their games, but not this one. Tebow and Harvin are too much. Florida is on a big roll.
But that is just what I think. Please vote and leave a comment.

I have to go with Florida, too. But you’re right, it’s tough to pick with so much parity in the SEC. Nobody’s an easy W. South Carolina learned the hard way against Vandy.
But I’ve always been a Big 10 guy, myself

Well I guess this was Georgia’s year. It is bout time…The dogs played better and with more emotion than they have in years and it worked.
I must admit I was somewhat surprised at the way they came out and celebrated after the first touchdown but I guess it worked.
GO DAWGS!

This game reminded me of Superman 2. That is the one where Superman loses his powers and gets beat up.
Tebow was not himself with his bruised shoulder….Please do not think that I am taking anything away from Georgia. They did a great job. You have to love the way they came out and played. I will always remember when they came out on the field after the first touchdown. That was awesome. Georgia reminded everyone that they are one of the best programs in the nation.
