LSU to play in BCS National Championship game

December 2nd, 2007 | by Ethanator1088 |

LSU could play in the BCS National Championship game. This could easily happen. Most people think that they will jump from 5 to 2. They can jump passed Georgia who was #4 because they won the SEC Championship. Missouri and West Virginia Lost.  They were ranked number 1 and number 2. The problem will be in the BCS computing.

I think I am the only person that is giving Georgia a chance to make it to the Championship game. LSU won the SEC championship, but Georgia did not lose this weekend. Ohio State will most definitely play in the National Championship game. They played another weak schedule and will most likely get stomped by an SEC school in the Championship again.

There really needs to be a Plus One Playoff. I would be very happy if Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, and Hawaii played in the National Championship. That will not happen, but it would be great. By the way, Hawaii is undefeated and has no chance at the BCS National Championship. They play a very weak schedule.

That is just what I think. You can go to the forums to continue the conversation with other fans. The forums are 100% easy, fun, and free. Click here to go to the forums.

Incredibly, the computer polls ended up with Virginia Tech as their #1 despite the fact that LSU beat them by 41 points earlier in the season. Fortunately, the human polls straightened everything out.
