Tennessee vs. Wisconsin, 2008 Outback Bowl, Prediction

Posted on 01 January 2008 by Ethan Jaynes

Tennessee Vols vs. Wisconsin Badgers in the 2008 Outback Bowl. Wisconsin was picked by many to win the National Championship. They did not, but still went 9-3. Tennessee was picked fourth in the SEC East and they ended up being the SEC East Champs at 9-4. They played LSU a very tough game. David Cutcliff has mentored Erik Ainge. They are a very nitty gritty team and passing well. We can all agree that they play with a great deal of heart. We all saw that in the SEC championship game.

Wisconsin’s mainstay is their running attack. PJ Hill is hurt, but they still have their huge O-line.

My pick is Tennessee to win. The difference for me will be Arian Foster. If he can play strong for Tennessee, they are my favorite. That will give them a ground and air attack.

The announcers for the game will be Sean McDonough, and Chris Spielman.
