I Gotta Have More Cowbell, Video, Mississippi State

Mississippi State FootballThe Mississippi State Bulldogs are synonymous with the word “ Cowbell “. The NCAA has a rule about artificial noise makers. The refs can actually penalize the team, if the crowd is using artificial noise. Well, it has never stopped the crowds in Starkville Mississippi from bringing their cowbells. I would be doing myself, this blog, and Mississippi State University a disservice, if I did not do this post. I have got to do a post about cowbells. I gotta have more cowbell. Will Ferrell and Christpoher Walken became synonymous with the word “Cowbell”, after this SNL skit. Please enjoy the Blue Oyster Cult, SNL, ” Gotta Have More Cowbell ” Video.

The infamous SNL Cowbell skit has linked Ferell and Walken to Mississippi State University. Without these three entities, Cowbells would only be used for cows. That would be a shame.


Just for fun. This is the same skit sped up. The funny thing is that Christopher Walken sounds like he is talking normal. :-)
