LSU vs. Miss. State 2008 Prediction

This should be a good game for the first half. They will both try to run the ball and stop the run. LSU made a statement last week of the positive kind, and Mississippi State made a statement of the negative kind.
LSU is looking for another National Championship, but LSU is not where they were last year. The QB problem is a thorn in their side. If they can consistently get QB play, like they had it in the second half vs. Auburn, they could go very far. They made a very positive statement against Auburn last week, but Auburn’s offense is VERY bad. They did not deserve the #9 ranking with a spread offense and a QB that does not run the ball. So LSU still need to answer some questions.
Mississippi State needs offense. They need to try to keep this game close and run the ball. Croom does not try to fool anyone. That is his offensive and defensive philosophy. He stops the run, and tries to run. He wants all of his players to be dedicated, and well disciplined. He believes he can win any game if everyone tries 100%. Miss. State won some games last year with that philosophy, but no one is sleeping on the Bulldogs this year.
I pick LSU to run down hill and wear Miss State out. I think they will have decent QB play, and I pick them to win by double digits.Tell me what you think. Leave a comment and watch some SEC Football Videos
