Alabama defeated #3 Georgia 41-30 . I am not going to do a recap. Other sites to do that. I am just writing a post to all the people that left comments on my Alabama vs Georgia post. ( 63 comments ! ) Hello all. Thanks so much for all the comments. That was a great debate, and Alabama settled it didn’t they. OUCH!
I am an Alabama believer now. They ran downhill and were very well coached. They showed discipline and a good bit of gumption. I like all of those qualities in a football team. Nick Saban has done what he was hired to do. That was the biggest National win for an Alabama team since the 1999 SEC Championship. It only took him a little over a year.
Georgia played off their heels from the moment the ball was kicked off. Give all the credit to Alabama. Georgia looked very lethargic, and they made silly penalties.
Alabama is in the National Championship hunt. Believe me. I am not a band wagon fan. I just call them like a I see um. I was waiting for Alabama to show me something more, and they showed me enough.
I picked Auburn to win the SEC West preseason. After a few games, it looks like Auburn and Alabama have similar talent. The difference is that Alabama has their act together. Auburn is “finding themselves”. I am not wishy washy. I still stand by my pick, but if Auburn has not found themselves by the Iron Bowl, Alabama will Roll over them on the way to the National Championship game. ( I am not forgetting about LSU, I just think they will lose 2 games and be out of the hunt by then )

The state of Georgia deserves this loss after voting in that moron Saxby Chambliss and being so disrespectful to Max Cleland – true war hero. What kind of idiots would do such a thing?! Oh yea, the same kind that would elect someone who wants to allow handguns in an airport.

Congrats to Tide on impressive win over GA. As an LSU fan, I figured 2 or 3 years for the Saban defense to catch on. Well, it has.
Note to anyone who can pass it on to Coach Saban: When Tide comes to Baton Rouge, Saban will of course get a pretty loud welcome. Those of us who are serious about football will refrain. We appreciate the fact that Saban initiated programs and facilities that serve our student-athletes so well today.

I was shocked Bama whipped them so bad. They really look loaded. I think they looked better than anyone in the country in a few years. But therew always next game.
