LSU vs Florida Prediction, 2008. These are 2 teams that really need to prove themselves. LSU has only played Auburn and they barely beat them with their vaunted Tony Franklin offense. Florida has played nobody and lost to Ole Miss.
The problem Florida had against Ole Miss is that Houston Nutt knows how to win in the SEC. You run the ball. You find your best athletes and you put it in their hands. Then you play smash mouth defense. Florida ran into that 2 weeks ago and they did not know what to do. Tim Tebow did not have all the answers.
LSU has only played Auburn, and they almost lost to them. Auburn truly was a joke in that game. Their spread offense was offensive. LSU still has huge QB questions. Do not be fooled by their #2 ranking. They are ranked that high because they are undefeated and they are the defending national champs. Well, the heart of that team is gone. This is almost a completely new team.
I pick Florida to come in with an offense that knows what it wants to do. Tebow will make some big plays. Harvin will make some big plays. The QB problems will be too much for LSU. Their running back, Charles Scott, will never get his feet under him, because Florida will stack the line and rush the inexperienced QB’s. I hope it ends with as much drama as last years game did, but I think Florida will win handily.

whoever said that auburn was an easy team, obviously knows nothing. lsu may have almost lost, but we still won. thats why we’re bcs national champions. i personally believe florida is a great team, and so is lsu, so the outcome will only be the best of the best.

Man, you have to wonder is Florida that good (I think so) or is LSU that bad (I think not)
If the Gators maintain the momentum they showed last week, the remainder of the season, including the Georgia game, should be a piece of cake.
But then again, every Saturday in the SEC is different.
