Georgia vs Florida Prediction, 2008. This is the match-up we have all been waiting for. I believe that the winner of this game will be in the BCS National Championship game. They both have only one loss and they will pretty much lock up the SEC East title.
Georgia has been decimated by injuries, but they still have a ton of talent that is up and playing at full speed. Stafford, Green and Moreno are playing great football. It is not often that a team has a top receiver, running back, and quarterback. That dose not happen very often.
Florida has Tebow and Harvin and a ton of talented players. Florida is stock piled with talent. Urban Meyer has got this team focused and Tebow has been nothing but a winner since that Ole Miss loss. Last weeks win over Kentucky was demoralizing. They have scored over 50 three times and everyone is asking “Where is Tebow”. They scored over 50 three times this season folks. That is where he has been. 
Enough of all that. Everyone wants to hear about the storming the end-zone stunt from last year. Well, guess what, every player from both teams will play with tons of emotion Saturday and it will have nothing to do with that end-zone celebration. It will have to do with the SEC/National Title in their grasp. You will hear a ton about it from the announcers, but that is it. Both of these coaches are smart, and they know to leave last season behind you.
My pick to win the game is Georgia. I feel that this game will be a lot like last weeks game between LSU and Georgia, and Georgia will win this game as well. Florida has a bad habit of making stupid penalties during the game. They do it early and often. I have no idea why they do it, but I think these two teams are so evenly matched that Florida’s propensity to make silly penalties will catch up with them.

Funny you said Florida will lose due to penalties. Georgia is the most penalized team in the country. Okay though if ya say so.

For the past 3 years, I have watched Florida games and they make silly penalties at the beginning, middle, and end of games.
They seem like they are always beating themselves, and fighting out of the hole they made for themselves. It was not something I have puled out of my hat this year.
There is a big difference between most penalties, and silliest most ill conceived time penalties.
Do not take it personally. I am saying that they are so evenly matched that penalties will be a factor. If you think that the edge in penalties goes towards Georgia, go with them. I think it hurts Florida the most because of the timing.

How can you predict that the winner of this game will be in the BCS Championship game?
Why didn’t you predict the winner of the Ga/Bama game to be in the BCS Championship game?
Why not the winner of the FL/LSU game in the championship game (obviously this has already been decided now.)
Lot of football is left to be played in the SEC. I wouldn’t buy my BCS championship package yet.

I feel that these are the 2 best teams in the SEC. That is why I said it. I feel that Bama got a jump on Georgia and surprised them. I do not think they could do it again, and we will most likely find out if they can in the SEC Championship game.

I feel like it will be a heavily penalized game and I feel like a lot of last years stuff will come out in this game. Florida may have something planned for Georgia for payback….. After all they have to win because I need them to.. I am a GATOR GIRL living in good old Georgia~~~

Right on brother man! i feel that georgia will come out on top of this tough game. Florida nd georgia are the most pinalized teams in the sec soo i dont think it will come down to that, i think that this close game to who wants it more and who can control the clock. But like i say…i anit worryied bout it..The Dawgs got this on! GO Dawgs!

Well you can bet on one thing,Georgia not only has to play Flordia but the REFS also .At the end of the game tell me im wrong Cry baby urban will get his way the refs will make sure of it.

Georgia makes a lot of penaltys yes but they have pulled through along with all of them penalties. Georgia will win.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha. You guys guessed wrong. Penaltys had nothing to do with that beating. Come on, Florida just went out and got payback for last year.

Update 2 Nov 08: Box score shows 49-10 and UF STILL has a good team and STILL hasn’t played a team as good or better than they are…There’s still Vandy, SC, and FSU (I don’t think Citadel will bring much)
UF has 343 PF to 93 PA. That’s about a 43-12 per game score. I’m looking forward to Atlanta against the Tide!
