My hat is off to Alabama. They played like the best team in America. Nick Saban totally out coached and out classed Tuberville. I know that the teams were well matched talent wise, but Alabama played with heart and determination. Auburn played like they were in the last game of a bad season. They played like they wanted it to be over.
Do not let anyone tell you that one interception or fumble changed the game. Alabama won the game, and Auburn did not have enough players that wanted it as bad as Alabama. The Tide was going to walk away with the victory no matter what.
I attribute that to coaching. Nick Saban always talks about an Identity he wants to bring to Alabama. He said the style of play that they had today is what that identity tends to do to programs. They win.
Auburn looked lost. They looked beaten early. They did not tackle well. The running backs tip toed to the line, while Alabama players hit the line going full blast. That is the Identity of Auburn right now.
This was a demoralizing loss for Auburn for many reasons. The way they played was pitiful. The shutout was insult to injury. The fact that Saban has done all of this in 2 years is a glaring fact that proves Auburn failed to improve their situation over the years Alabama was on probation.
Tuberville has some big decisions to make, and I feel that the best one he could make is to go back to the same offense that he had an undefeated season with in 2004. He will get fired next year if they come out in the spread and lose 6 games. Running the ball out of the I is not sexy, but it works. It is what Auburn does, and it is what they do well.
Alabama needs to get ready for the only team in America that might be playing better than them. This should be the best SEC Championship game in a long time. It might be the best ever. This might as well be the National Championship.

10 points??? 10 POINTS!?!?
It is UNTHINKABLE that the line can have the Tide 10 point dogs to ANY team after this weekend’s shutout. I smell upset all the way, here, especially if the Gators are reading their own press. Take the Tide plus the points. Heck, Roll Tide to win!
