Alabama’s Andre Smith Suspended from the Sugar Bowl. Had Alabama been playing for the National Championship, this suspension may have really cost them a chance to win their bowl game. However, in reality, The Crimson Tide is playing Utah, where I feel the second string could probably run the score up on the Utes. Smith has been suspended from the game for having contact with an agent. Does this hurt his draft status? I do not believe it will. Look for Mr. Smith to go #2 in the upcoming draft. If the Rams are foolish enough to pass on him, put a stopwatch on Kansas City to see how fast they get their choice to the podium. Jake Long got 57.5 million dollars as last years prized first overall draft pick. Andre Smith is way better than Jake Long and will have impact in the NFL.
