“What Would Tim Tebow Do” Day Canceled

Posted on 27 August 2009 by Ethan Jaynes

“What Would Tim Tebow Do” Day Canceled. A minor league team in Florida was going to have a “What Would Tim Tebow Do” promotion. This is what it consisted of

  • Promise rings given out to all fans.
  • Coaches getting out of jams by asking themselves “What would Tim Tebow do?”
  • A jump-pass to the catcher as the ceremonial first pitch.
  • A mock circumcision celebrating his missionary work.
  • A local construction worker named “Timothy Tebo” attempting to walk on water.

I am sure they would have conducted the “mock circumcision” with the utmost of class, but they had to nix it due to the NCAA not wanting Tebow’s name being used.  They had to changed it to “What Would T.T. Do” day. The name changed but the hilarity will still ensue. Every proud parent that goes to the event with their children will still help convey the same message.

“Having any form a moral fiber or religious conviction is something to be made fun of!”
